About The Sunset Motel
We are a small motel in Henderson Harbor, New York. We have a total of seven (7) guest rooms. Rooms 1-5 have two full size beds with access directly onto the brand-new deck that overlooks Lake Ontario for gorgeous sunsets. The 6th room has one full bed and does not overlook the water but does have a deck on the street side. The 7th room has one full bed with French doors to enter onto your own private deck to enjoy the Lake Ontario sunsets.
We have dockage for up to 4 mid-size boats (No power hookups).
At this time, we do not have an office or staff onsite at all times. We are available in person while we are cleaning and freshening guest rooms throughout the day and 24/7 by phone at (315) 938-5011.

Meet the New Owners
Sherry Luke and their son Alan have owned operated the Sunset motel since 2018.
We have been through many different situations..... high water, low water, and then Covid but through all of the learning curves and obstacles we have had a wonderful time speaking with and meeting our guest. We plan to continue to do so for the foreseeable future. looking forward to greeting you soon.

Rooms 1-5
Rooms 1-5 have two full size beds with access directly onto the brand new deck that overlooks Lake Ontario’s gorgeous sunsets. In 2016 all of these rooms have been completely renovated! The rooms have fresh paint, new hardwood floors, new interior doors, headboards, furniture and light fixtures and the private bathrooms boast fresh paint and wainscoting, new bathtubs, toilets, vanity’s, light fixtures and mirrors. For your comfort there are brand new box springs and mattresses and we have secured a contract for the linen service for the sheets, blankets and towels. Interior amenities include new 32inch flat screen televisions with cable television, a mini refrigerator, Keurig and Air Conditioning. The exterior amenities include the new deck which has been completely updated with new deck boards and railings for you sit in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the Henderson Harbor Sunset!
Room 6
Room 6 has one full size bed and does not overlook Henderson Harbor. In 2016 this room has been completely renovated! The room has fresh paint, new hardwood floors, a new interior door, headboard, furniture and light fixture and the private bathroom boasts fresh paint and wainscoting, new shower, toilet, vanity, light fixture and mirror. For your comfort there is a brand new box spring and mattress and we have secured a contract for the linen service for the sheets, blankets and towels. Interior amenities include a new 32inch flat screen television with cable television, a mini refrigerator, Keurig and Air Conditioning.
Room 7
Room 7 has one full size bed with a sliding glass door to enter onto your own private deck to enjoy the Lake Ontario’s gorgeous sunset. In 2016 this room has been completely renovated! The room has fresh paint, new hardwood floors, a new interior door, headboard, furniture and light fixture and the private bathroom boasts fresh paint and wainscoting, new shower, toilet, vanity, light fixture and mirror. For your comfort there is a brand new box spring and mattress and we have secured a contract for the linen service for the sheets, blankets and towels. Our Location
From Interstate 81 (North or South):
Take US Route 178 towards Henderson (Approximately 8 Miles), once through the small town of Henderson (Henderson Fire Department and Henderson Free Library on your right), stay STRAIGHT onto County Route 72 (Approximately 1 ½ Miles) through one STOP Sign, turn LEFT onto County Route 123 (Approximately ¼ Mile) and The Sunset Motel will be on your RIGHT.
From NYS Route 3:
Heading North on NYS Route 3, turn LEFT onto County Route 72 and then turn LEFT onto County Route 123 (Approximately ¼ Mile) and The Sunset Motel will be on your RIGHT.
Heading South on NYS Route 3, turn right onto County Route 72 and then turn LEFT onto County Route 123 (Approximately ¼ Mile) and The Sunset Motel will be on your RIGHT
